- 1. the extra hours you flex from this fourty-hour work week to the next fourty-hour work week that you never get to take because you’re too busy to take the extra hours off
- 2. the extra hours you flex from the next fourty-hour work week to this fourty-hour work week in order to cover doctor’s appointments, sick kids, etc. that you won’t make up next week and that you’ll have to end up claiming as vacation time
