The Micro-Pundit:  Photos from Nepal’s Abandoned Girls

I’ve found that the BBC’s photoessays are amazing, and today’s photoessay from Nepal is no exception.  In this case, girls who have been abandoned for one reason or another were given cameras and 12 of the photos, accompanied by descriptions, are available at the BBC’s website.

I can’t say that most of them are what I’d consider amazing examples of skilled photography, but there is something unusually compelling about them.
