The Miscreant’s Dictionary defines a new word today:  “theonatism.”

theonatism

1. a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and religion above the individual and that stands for a strong centralized government headed by a supposedly divinely appointed leader, severe social and economic regimentation, forcible suppression of opposition, and a fusion of cultural and religious imperialism with anti-immigrant isolationism {ex:  the United States GOP leadership circa 2005}
