The Miscreant’s Dictionary defines “judicial activism.”


judical activism
1. actions taken by judiciary to redefine legislation and the Constitution to match a predetermined particular political or social opinion
2. a red herring offered by predominantly conservative activists to mobilize their voting base to get out to the polls on election day
3. judges protecting the rights of the disadvantages, one of the principle functions and responsibilities of an independent judiciary
