Today we define “ground war” in the Miscreant’s Dictionary.

ground war

1. The stage of a military conflict wherein infantry and armor forces come into direct conflict

2. A term used to describe any action where massive numbers of opponents meet and attempt to beat the other in small-scale conflict {example:  political ground war as a synonym for grass-roots politics}
